With the build of the site Rob Woolf worked closely with KIT Solution on the development of the programming for the statistical analysis aspects of the Eco Cube and he is able to apply this training to the further development of the Cubes capabilities.
The partnership between Sea Marketing and Eco Watch has developed so well that Rob Woolf has now become a permanent employee for Eco Watch to develop the website further and increase the business and marketing opportunities.
The development of the Eco Cube has enabled Eco Watch to further develop its relationship with the BBC – they hosted the BBC’s Springwatch event at Heligan in June 07 and are in talks with them for the Autumnwatch event. Additionally they have used the system in a Raptor Watch programme – following Peregrines and have set the system up within a quarry so that the client can use it as an educational tool for school visits.
The project delivered all the expectations incorporating design with a logging back end. In addition it has developed the relationship between BBC and Eco Watch helping to secure the business and marketing for the future.
